Grindery Unveils Aventino: Pioneering Financial Autonomy for AI Agents

PRESS RELEASE – Singapore, Singapore, April 30th, 2025

The Binance Labs-backed company is building Aventino, the permissionless payments layer for autonomous AI agents.

Following the success of its Binance Labs-incubated (now Yzi Labs), self-custodial crypto wallet boasting 3.5 million users, Grindery is now setting its sights on building the permissionless payments layer for AI agents. The team behind the popular smart wallet is proud to reveal its latest product, Aventino, a developer-focused infrastructure layer that provides smart wallets specifically for AI agents.

With Aventino, Grindery is dedicated to bringing financial autonomy to AI agents. This platform offers tools to create an ecosystem where AI agents can function independently – owning wallets, executing transactions, interacting with blockchain protocols, and rallying their own tokenized communities across platforms like Telegram, WhatsApp, XMT, and the open web.

Aventino represents a permissionless smart wallet infrastructure utilizing the Ethereum account abstraction protocol ERC4337. This innovative platform enables developers to:

  • Construct AI agents using any LLM, leveraging any framework, and distributing them on various clients and devices.
  • Empower these agents to make payments, engage with protocols, and issue their own tokens, thereby allowing for tokenized agents.
  • Foster communities around their agents, paving the way for new forms of governance and growth.

“We believe the future of AI requires financial autonomy — not just intelligence of agents,” stated Tim Delhaes, Grindery’s CEO and co-founder. “Aventino equips developers to create platform-agnostic agents that can transact, govern, and evolve independently. Just as mobile applications established a layer between users and the internet, agentic AI will create a new layer between users and the AI models that enrich their digital lives. And this evolution will be fueled by crypto.”

Backed by Binance Labs (now YZi Labs)

Grindery’s journey, which began in 2022 within Binance Labs’ incubation program, had previously developed what was known as the “Zapier for Web3.” With 3.5 million users registered on its Telegram smart wallet, Grindery recognized a significant opportunity to utilize its established infrastructure to expand into an even broader market: empowering AI agents as autonomous economic participants.

Aventino’s Core Capabilities

The launch of Aventino presents developers the capability to construct fully autonomous, highly adaptable AI agents that are interoperable, decentralized, and monetizable without the need to be tethered to closed ecosystems. The platform’s core features encompass:

  • Self-custodial wallets for AI agents – Built on ERC-4337 account abstraction, facilitating native interactions between agents and DeFi or web3 protocols.
  • Creator-centric stack – Offering tech-agnostic and platform-agnostic tools for publishing on Telegram, WhatsApp, web, and decentralized clients like XMTP.
  • Agent tokenization & monetization – Optional issuance of tokens for agents to promote governance, liquidity, and community co-ownership.
  • Turnkey monetization – Allowing agents to accept payments through traditional fiat means like Apple Pay and Google Pay, along with crypto options.

“AI agents should have the freedom to evolve, interact, and earn,” added Delhaes. “With Aventino, we are establishing the infrastructure for that vision — enabling a future where anyone can build AI agents with tangible real-world utility and governance, supported by crypto.”

GX is the Currency of AI

In a recent development, Grindery launched its universal gas token, GX, which is now available on major centralized exchanges such as Kucoin, MEXC, and Gate.io, alongside decentralized exchanges like Uniswap and STON.fi, as well as DeFi aggregator LI.FI.

The introduction of Aventino extends the utility of the GX token significantly. Beyond facilitating cross-chain gas payments and governance, GX will be used for transactions between agents, enabling smooth payment processes across platforms. Additionally, GX will be essential in deploying and tokenizing new agents through bonding curves, thus providing access and incubation mechanisms for the next generation of AI developers.

Partnership Opportunities

Grindery is keen to establish partnerships with:

  • LLM platforms seeking to broaden their horizons
  • Messaging clients and protocols
  • Wallet providers
  • No- and low-code platforms
  • Blockchain protocols with aspirations in AI

What’s Next

Grindery has launched an idea forum to crowd-source concepts and requests for customized AI agents from the community. The project is in the process of onboarding developers from AI, crypto, and domain-specific fields. The next 4–8 weeks will be crucial as the team accelerates the development of Aventino, transitioning from private beta to public beta.
