Miami, Florida, March 19th, 2025
In an exciting collaboration, House of Doge, the Dogecoin Foundation, NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Devlin DeFrancesco, and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing have unveiled a unique platform that combines the thrill of racing with a charitable mission. As the iconic Indy 500 prepares for its 109th running on May 25, this initiative allows fans not only to influence DeFrancesco’s car design but also to make a significant impact on children’s health.
This partnership, aptly titled Dogecoin Racing, merges Dogecoin—a cryptocurrency known for its vibrant community—with the fast-paced world of motorsports. As the Indianapolis 500, famously dubbed ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,’ attracts over 350,000 spectators and reaches audiences in more than 140 countries, it paves the way for Dogecoin to take center stage, spotlighting its potential for wider adoption.
Devlin DeFrancesco, whose personal journey is nothing short of inspiring, was born 15 weeks premature and weighed just one pound at birth. Surviving against all odds, he has channeled his passion for racing into philanthropic endeavors, particularly aimed at helping critically ill children. As part of this initiative, DeFrancesco will personally donate $25,000 in Dogecoin to the Riley Children’s Foundation, which supports one of the leading pediatric care centers in the U.S., emphasizing the importance of giving back.
“I first invested in Dogecoin in 2020 and drove everyone crazy, telling anyone who would listen that they needed to own it,” DeFrancesco shared. His commitment to receive a portion of his salary in Dogecoin—$100,000—highlights a remarkable shift towards cryptocurrency adoption in professional sports.
Engaging the Community Through Voting
In a groundbreaking move, House of Doge and the Dogecoin Foundation are launching a fan-driven contest that allows the Dogecoin community to vote on the official race car wrap and helmet design worn by DeFrancesco during the Indy 500. From March 19 to March 25, fans can not only cast their votes but also enter for a chance to win a Dogecoin wallet loaded with $1,000.
This year’s choices for the No. 30 Dogecoin Honda livery include:
- Blaze – A fiery design that stands out on the track.
- Turbowave – An 80s-inspired aesthetic complete with a synthwave vibe.
- BananaBoost – A playful and slippery design that promises to outpace the competition.
Make an Impact: “Dogenate” for a Chance to Win
Alongside voting, House of Doge and the Dogecoin Foundation are encouraging the community to support children’s health through contributions in Dogecoin to Riley’s Foundation. The largest donor will receive an exclusive Indy 500 racing helmet worn and signed by DeFrancesco, commemorating a momentous occasion.
All funds raised will be directed toward providing critical care for newborns and children facing severe health challenges, reinforcing the partnership’s goal of making a substantial difference in the lives of those in need.
As we approach the Indy 500, House of Doge calls upon the Dogecoin community to unite in generosity, aiming to make history both on and off the track. To participate, vote, or donate, visit dogecoin.com/indycar.
