[PRESS RELEASE – Paris, France, April 7th, 2025]
Paris Blockchain Week, Europe’s premier blockchain event, has officially revealed the winners of its Onsite Hackathon, which took place over the weekend at VO2 in central Paris. This competition gathered talented blockchain developers and innovators from around the world for an intense two-day sprint aimed at building the next generation of Web3 solutions.
This year’s hackathon embraced a hybrid format, blending several weeks of online challenges and workshops with a dedicated in-person build event. Online winners were previously announced, with Agrify Technologies taking first place, followed by Stripped Chain and Myrkle; the finale in Paris, however, emphasized in-person collaboration, rapid prototyping, and high-pressure live pitching.
The hackathon commenced on April 5 with an engaging schedule of workshops and sponsor briefings. Noteworthy blockchain platforms like XRPL Commons, Solana Foundation, and Bahamut presented technical challenges to participants, who formed teams, designed applications, and coded together while receiving guidance from on-site mentors throughout the weekend.
By Sunday afternoon, teams had finalized and submitted their projects, each given the opportunity to pitch their solutions live to a panel of judges comprising protocol experts, venture capitalists, and industry leaders. Judging occurred on-site, with the winners announced shortly thereafter.

“This weekend’s hackathon highlighted the incredible talent and creativity within the global blockchain community,” remarked Michael Amar, Co-founder of Paris Blockchain Week. “We were thrilled to witness a record number of participants this year, developing a wide array of solutions from DeFi applications to infrastructure tools with genuine real-world impact. The enthusiasm, collaboration, and quality of ideas were truly inspiring, and we celebrate the winning teams who embody the future of innovation in Web3.”
